Early Career in Retail Management
Kemal began his educational journey at triOS College, focusing on Business Technology and Healthcare, and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Management Information Systems (MIS). This degree prepared him for various significant roles, including IT manager, systems analyst, and database administrator. He spent more than a decade at TJX Canada as a Retail Manager, quickly progressing through various roles within the company and eventually taking on substantial managerial responsibilities, overseeing multiple stores in Western Canada.
His involvement in over 40 new store openings, relocations, and renovations, notably the launch of the first six HomeSense stores in Canada, underscores his effectiveness in managing teams and enhancing customer satisfaction through innovative problem-solving and creative strategies.
Director of Leadership Development
In 2007, Kemtal transitioned to a pivotal role as Director of Leadership Development at Global Expeditions, a Texas-based missionary program offering young people unique short-term international and domestic experiences. In this role, he refined his mentoring and motivational speaking skills and was responsible for developing leadership training for project directors and managers.
His leadership prowess led to his promotion to Executive Director of Acquire the Fire, the live events sector of Teen Mania, where he managed nearly 100 staff and interns. Under his guidance, the nonprofit introduced new products and enhanced operational efficiencies, incorporating digital technologies to better-reporting systems, streamline workflow, and improve inter-departmental communications.
Executive Director and Faith Leader
He is a highly sought-after motivational speaker and expert in organizational leadership and business management. As the managing partner of Victoryville Group LLC, he previously served as an executive pastor at a central nondenominational church in Texas, overseeing nine campus locations. He now focuses on assisting those impacted by church-related challenges.
He also supports and encourages pastors within AFCM International’s Southern Plains Region. A graduate of the AFCM International Training Center and the Huge O'Brian Youth Leadership Foundation, Kemtal is committed to leadership, service, and innovation.
